Mirkwood: Barad Guldur

Basic Info:

Barad Guldur

Gloom: 180


Each character on this raid should have a minimum of 120 radiance (115 will round up to 120 and should be acceptable).  Each character should also bring at least:


3 Tokens of Edelharn (+5/30m so luminous, sparkling, or glorious)
3 Scrolls of Supreme batle Lore (+500 all offence)
3 Scrolls of Supreme Warding Lore (+1000 all defence)
50 Athelas Essences (steeped or potent)
50 Celebrant Salves (steeped or potent)
50 Steeped Cornhuith Draughts (fear 75)
50 Steeped Healing Draughts (wound 75)

Disable “skill target forwarding” in combat options.

Recommended weapon damage type:
Westernesse, or possibly Beleriand+Undead (Elven Dead-reaver).

The Gauntlet

<Beginning:>
Flame-Axe:
            Hunches shoulders then casts distributed dmg fireball.
            On death, explodes into an AOE fire cloud.
Shadow-Mace:
            Applies -100% threat debuff
            Stuns target
            Huge Knockback

<Middle:>
Uruks strike with 2-5k AOE dmg.
Wargs apply non-curable wounds.
Goblins apply poison (ranged).
 
1. Ranged pulls in goblins/wargs.
2. Tank aggros Uruk (away from group)
3. Ranged Kill Uruk, Melee kill wargs then goblins.

Black-Sword:
            Does distributed AOE dmg
Black-Mace:
            (similar to shadow-mace)

1. Tank & other melees pull Sword into a corner

2. Other tank pulls Mace down the hall ahead
3. Kill Sword, then Mace
 

Durchest Boss


Gloom: 180-230

EM: (+30 radiance boots)
HM: kill all 10 of his Armoured adds before he is killed (+30 radiance chest)
 
Healers and Ranged dps should go to the middle back of the room
Use fellowship’s heart right before storm guard dies

Durchest:
            Inherits abilities from defeated Gaurds
            Has a distributed frontal arc cleave attack every 15 secs or so.
            Cleave attack applies –20% threat debuff (stacks until total in room is -210%)
 
About 45 seconds in, a Guard enters from the west door.
Each 80 secs another Guard enters (doors alternate).
 
Guard 1: Armoured Black-Axe
            -100% armour debuff, 15m 1k dmg aoe small knockback

Guard 2: Armoured Flame-Mace
            Inferno (distributed fire damage) cast at a random player's feet on add kill

Guard 3: Armoured Shadow-Axe
            Seed of Shadow (removable fear effect does aoe damage if counts down) cast every 24 secs on random player

Guard 4: Armoured Black-Mace
            -100% threat debuff, huge knockback, stun

Guard 5: Armoured Black-Axe


Pull levers to activate more Guards:

[middle lever] Guard 6:  East door  Armoured Storm-Axe
            Static Shock AoE on add kill
            (Mini FH, RK bubble/do not fall, CPT LS/IHW when add is at 5k)

[far right lever] Guard 7:  West door  Armoured Flame-Sword

            Inferno (distributed fire damage) cast at a random player's feet on add kill

[mid right lever] Guard 8:  West door  Armoured Black-Sword

[mid left lever] Guard 9: East door  Armoured Black-Sword

[far left lever] Guard 10:  East door  Armoured Shadow-Mace
            Seed of Shadow casts twice as often


Between Durchest and Twins

Blue Eye ends with an AOE explosion (move away from the group).

First stairs you get to:
Wait for the pathers to leave and for the Sorcerer's corruption to come off and then mez the Sorcerer in place.  This aggros the remaining Armoured, which should be brought to the base of the stairs and killed.

Then the entire raid should go up the stairs, hugging the right side, and come to the Sorcerer.  Keep it stunned and kill it once the pathers have gone.  DO NOT GET NEAR THE DOORWAY ONCE ON TOP.


Twins Boss

Gloom: 180-230

EM: (+30 radiance gloves )
HM: kill the Twins within 10 seconds of each other (+30 radiance helm)
 
Red/Blue Eyes end with AOE damage clouds (deposit on side of room)
 
Keep bosses on either end of the room with most of raid in the middle.
 
Cargaraf (NO MELEE):
            1-shots anything in melee range (“away with you”)
 
Morgaraf (FIRE):

            Has a fire aura (about 600 dmg/sec)
 
Between Twins and Lieutenant
Lights have an interruptible AOE attack
 
The Lieutenant

Purple clouds do 1k dmg/sec (avoid them)

Green Eye means you are the target and need to kite the dragon around the perimeter (lasts 30 secs). Getting hit while having a green eye heals Morskor for 10k.

The Dragon stops, looks in a direction, then does breath attack for 1.5k dmg

Purple eye creates a death circle for 10m around you. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS!

ICPR becomes zero so spam potions.

Red(slow) corruption needs to be removed asap in dismounted phase.
